Jade Stensgar-Mokry

Climate Change Intern, Coeur d’Alene Tribe

Jade Stensgar-Mokry is a 20-year-old Coeur d’Alene Tribal member. Jade is currently pursuing her B.S in Fishery Resources.

Jade was born and raised on the Coeur d’Alene Reservation and has worked with the Tribe’s Natural Resource’s department for the past 6 seasons. Her primarily focus has been assisting the Tribe’s Limnologists in data collection and lake monitoring, education outreach and cultural foods preservation. This season she serves as a Climate Change intern assisting with the writing of the Tribe’s Climate Change Assessment with a focus on culturally significant water bodies.
